Far better than the Quintanas and Foremans that Cotto was winning titles from when he was fighting S of 160.:lol::lol:

We have different opinions on b hop......to me his greatness was earned when he stepped up and fought super middles and light heavies and held his own .....not dominating the mw division

We still don't know if ggg will be a ppv star....well see.....but it prob won't happen fighting lemieux and then heiland for a vacant belt

I think once Canelo sees that a GGG fight will pay him more than he made fighting Mayweather, he'll change his mind.

Lord knows he's gotta be tired of boiling down from 175 to make 155. :-(

Wow...are we really gonna compare cotto and gggs resumes? I don't think any triple quack superfan wants to go there do they?

Cotto just made light work out of one of ggg's best wins lol

I wonder how long a faded Mosely would last with GGG?
How bout a broke leg Yuri Foreman.

    Fact is......

Cottos resume is better than GGGs, except he's lost to every great fighter he's fought.

A welterweight mosley prob wouldn't last long with ggg.....but seeing as he was a welter he'd be right up ggg's alley

No shame in losing to some of the best of his generation ....at least he tried....ggg is afraid of Ward

In the end, if Golovkin takes this money he himself is to blame also, you can't have it both ways.

Cotto's middleweight reign is truly a disgusting sight though, seldom have I seen anything like this, Golovkin needs to tell him to **** off with his money and enforce the mandatory, so he can run off back to JMW like we know he will (if he wins). If not, he's as much of a sellout.

Edit: NVM, I think I got confused here, I thought that was his plan...

Trout is the best of his generation??:lol: So is Margo..

I can't see GGG quiting on his knees or running from a former flyweight before being stopped.

GGG is not scared of Ward. Ward has nightmares of GGG.

So Cotto agrees to fight Pac at 145 and he's lauded as some kindof warrior, but Ward refuses 164, and GGG is the one villified by Shockmaster.:huh

You know K2 made a LEGAL offer to give Ward a guaranteed split of a 10+ mil purse(HBO was guaranteeing $4 mil each alone), plus gate etc.....twice what Ward made for Froch, Kessler, and Abe combined.

Not only that, but K2 also sent feelers out to Roc on them making a LEGAL offer to GGG for 166 or 168.

    Roc went silent.

Ward said he needed another tuneup.

Enzo Mac at 170 is rumored to be his next fight.

Thatd be like GGG calling down Dawson to 162 for his next fight.

Come on man. Get a grip. :-:)-:)-(

Sorry LHL.......this post was directed at the moron trolling this thread.:thumbsup

    All apologies.

The fact remains that Cotto somehow makes great fights happen whereas G just doesn't. If he needs to move a weight class, he has, if has to adhere to a catch weight he has, he has even fought against plaster, PED's, fought through a head butt gash in a fight he had won etc. Cotto cares about fighting good fights, and having great fights.

You can believe GGG when he said he would move down to the lowest OFFICIAL wieght to fight the #2 MW.

154.1, if it meant getting the Cotto Canelo winner. :good
