Flyweight champions wanted no part of him
So he moved up to super flyweight and challenge darchinyan but darchinyan wanted no part of him again.
So he then challenge eric morel but morel turned it down.

Nonito you are no longer the filipino flash. You are now Nonito " the most avoided" Donaire:lol::good

    I don't buy it.

He hasn't had a meaningful fight in 3 years. No-one gets avoided for that long. His management team are to blame.

It is easy for fans to say that he is being avoided, but the idea is silly when put into perspective.

He had that one great win that one time. He's like Buster Douglas! Everybody avoided Buster!

Yeah he seams overrated to me. Not in a way i feel he is ****. In a way were its easy to look good against the **** opposition he has fought of late.

Plus i dont see Vic making 112 or the way Ive been reading im pretty sure Vic is having trouble getting to 115. Thats why the fights at 118 lately.

Well, both Vic and Donaire were fighting at 115. I didn't hear anything about Donaire wanting him back down at 112 for a rematch, but I may've missed the talk going on about it back when they had just fought. Vic just doesn't have anyone else to fight at 115 that wants him, to my knowledge. He unified and cleaned house there. He wants a BW title now. I don't see him getting a major one but I'd be glad for him if he did and a Nonito fight be damned.

Of heard from talk around Australian Boxing Circles that Vic is stepping up because he is finding hard to make 115.

Having said that Ive also read that Vic can make 3 times more fighting say

    R. Marquez or F. Montiel

I would bet he'd make a career high payday against Marquez, as dangerous as that would be. I didn't know he was having trouble making 115 but at his age, I'm not surprised. Do you think he'd beat Montiel? I can't see him doing it, personally. But I'd cheer him on.

Not sure if he will beat either Montiel or marquez but they are both the fights he is chasing before he retires.

Against Barcelona Vic looked not really good. But ive been reading that Vic has 2 big fights left in him so he wants to cash in on bigger names.

All the talk is of a Montiel fight next. But he is 34 not to far from 35 years old and he would be having trouble making 115.

He's not avoided, he doesn't seem interested in fighting the best.

Thats it, i can think of plenty of good names that he could have fought in the last 2 years heres a list.

    Vic Darchinyan
    Christian Mijares
    Jorge Arce
    Fernando Montiel
    Omar Narveaz
    Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
    Luis Concepcion
    Hugo Cazares
    Daisuke Naito

Theres a few names that im sure he could have went after in the last 2 years but instead you got a few guys that were way past it or coming off loses.

He's been living off the Vic win for years now. Look what Vic's done since that fight, it's why I don't blame Vic for the rematch not happening - precedent suggests it's Donaire who is adverse to fighting the best.

No one is avoiding him. But he is in a division were there's no one. Vic can't make 115 anymore. He

should move up to challenge those fighters above.I agree he is overrated.
