I agree. I can't see Joshua stepping aside anyway. If he does so, he admits to himself that he isn't confident of beating Usyk in the rematch, and if he isn't confident of that, he'll only become less confident against the winner of Fury-Usyk. Deep down, maybe he does lack confidence, but it is likely he can psyche himself up enough to believe he can win the Usyk fight and after that he'll be back on top. I think he will lose, but he's proven me wrong before. Ideally there would be no rematch clause, Fury would fight Usyk for undisputed, Joshua could fight Whyte in a huge non-world-title fight.
You're right, but I think people forget Joshua is no longer a boxer, he's a brand or even an enterprise. He clearly has ambitions of being some kind of campaigner, spending money on social good and all that, and of course potentially being a manager of fighters in his own right. With his entourage, that doesn't come cheap. He'll take all he can get because it'll soon fritter away.
It wont be as the Saudi's want it. Fury is already earning that or more a fight. Unbeaten Fury and Usyk for all the belts is a mega event.
