    Dear Friends
    kind regards
Today we continue with our Step back in time series.
I am marking the occasion by highlighting the match up that took place last night on Sky box office pitting Amir Khan against Breidis Prescott.
Khan told everyone that he was going to be invincible with his new trainer and marked the ocassion by having his first match up on Sky box office.
    Here is what took place.

Breidis Prescott did us all a favour by ending the myth of Amir Khan in a sensational first round KO.
What are your opinions about this match?
Did any of you think that Khan would get beaten in this way by Prescott?
Can Khan come back from this?
If you could watch the match and get back to me A.S.A.P with comments I'd appreciate it.
    yours thankfully
    John

Breidis Prescott should have his own tribute statue In the Town of Bolton.

Did you watch a webstream like most of us did John?

my opinion, pure joy and felt smug in knowing i had told many people what was going to happen
yes i thought he could get beaten by prescott but i rated him a lttle higher i thought this would of happend to the hands of a top 10 lightweight so it was a bit of a shock to realise how **** he was to what he told us anyway
yes obviousley every fighter can make a comeback if they realy realy want it and get there mind right, dont think your the best and untouchable and work your butt off then yeah.
do i think it will happen NO, but he can prove me wrong

and the end of the day he has got a glass jaw, his defence is crap as we seen in previouse fights and that 50 secs yesterday lol
for an olympic silver medalist you realy would expect him to have a stronger set of basic boxing skills but i think he realy believed the hype poor lad, parlt that twat frank warrens fault he practicaly set him up to fall without knowing it.

    Dear Max Molyneux
    kind regards
I didn't watch the match at all because I sought an early night.
I wouldn't have paid to watch Amir Khan fight and wouldn't have stayed up too late to see him fight.
I don't deem him worth the money or lack of sleep.
Breidis Prescott deserves all the credit in the World for finally shutting the mouth of Khan.
He is another overhyped celebrity in the UK who isn't worth a damn.
    Good riddance to him.
    yours thankfully
    John

    Dear Stimulant
    kind regards
Khan was talking like a Gaylord all week long, he said that he was going to be invincible with his new trainer.
I always thought that he was going to get knocked out when he stepped up a notch and that is exactly what happened.
Hopefully that is another manufactured celebrity in the dustbin of history.
The only good thing about these overhyped boxers like Khan is that they always get defeated in the most laughable way when they take a step up in class.
Plus, I am sure that the Pakistani Muslim community must have been crying their eyes out last night.
Fear not though, Mr Khan can always get a job as a taxi driver now that the hype is over.
    yours thankfully
    John

    Dear nervousxtian
    kind regards
Why should any of us feel bad about having a laugh at Khan's expense?
Amir Khan is Boxing's equivalent of Lily Allen and Kate Nash, a manufactured boxing celebrity who fell for his own hype.
Frank Warren is becoming more like Simon Cowell everyday, he hypes the best boxers of a bad bunch, feeds their egos and are shocked when they flop.
Khan shouldn't have believed his own hype, most people knew that he would get destroyed when he took a step up in class.
There isn't anything more to say about the issue.
    yours thankfully
    John

that will hit home better than any lesson.

why didn't amir khan do the following?

    1. when he was first wobbled (chicken dance) take the knee for an 8 count to clear his head.
    2. when kd the first time take an 8 count.
    3. dive in and expose his chin like a wally

credit to prescot - will be interesting to see how far he goes.
