Hey, I had no idea you used to work Grant's corner...I wanted the big guy to do well, but unfortunately things just weren't to be. Even now I keep tabs on him, check for upcoming fights and interviews.

If Golota had Grant's heart, he would've won this one. But when he was put under pressure he folded.

Ironically I think the Golota of recent years finally has that mental security. But physically his best days are past, of course.

I never worked Michaels corner, I was just a friend of him and Craig, his Manager at the time. Don Turner worked Mikes Corner, Don was an amazing guy...... I love Michael and was not only there for the Golota fight , i was there for a few, (J L Gonzales, Izon, Lewis, McCline, Guinn fights..) I have known him since 1993 when Mrs Steele entered him for the Golden Gloves as a late starter.. Mike took yo boxing like a natural. His mobility was his downfall.. He didn;t move like a natural , but did un naturally well for a reletive novice.. Very strong natural Athlete.. He really wants the present comeback to go well.....

I do hope he's able to reach a finale to his career that satisfies him.
Success has many mothers while failure is an orphan, but at the very least he'll have best wishes from my corner.

I was a Lennox Lewis fan, so I wasn't pulling for Grant against Lewis, but I had hoped that he would bounce back from that loss and become a force in the division. He had some bad luck breaking his ankle in the McCline fight, and I hope he eventually is able to end his career on a high note. He was an amazing physical specimen and accomplished a lot for someone who got into boxing late.

The fight against Golota was a micrososm of Andrew's career. Full of promise but ultimately disappointing.
