Dear Friends kind regards Today we continue our Step back in time series. Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn had an intense feud back in the 90's, here is their first clash. Part 1. [dm]xu3ep&related=[/dm] Part 2. [dm]xu43i&related=[/dm] Chris Eubank beat Nigel Benn in round 9 in a great encounter. What are your thoughts about this match. If you could watch the match and get back to me with comments A.S.A.P I'd appreciate it. yours thankfully John
John: thanks. I was in the mood for this without knowing it. See embedding DailyMotion stuff, is that done the same way as YouTube.
Dear McGrain kind regards Dailymotion videos can be put on here. There is an X sign on the right hand sign of the icon screen, two signs away from Youtube. You use the details on the embeddable player to paste into the X screens. I hope this helps. yours thankfully John
Dear John kind regards These bring back great memories, of a time when the division was in a much stronger state. These guys would give guys like Pavlik a good seeing too. yours thankfully TFFP
:good This fight: this fight is a great fight. And these guys are great, great fighters, warriors. Some observations where the styles of the two men are concerned. NIGEL BENN is not as easy to hit as people say when he is moving in. He has a good stance and decent hand position. He will take a backwards step on these occasions. It's when he starts to swing that he refuses to back up and becomes open. But Benn has pretty quick hands, and he's not as innacurate as he is painted when he is punching textbook - his straight punches are near perfect. So the only time he is vulnerable is when he is throwing a mixture of wide and techncial punches, the forrmer capable of decapatating almost anybody and the later are hard hard shots. Benn has apuncher's chance v anyone, but it's not a pug's chance. He's wild on occasion but he's no amatuer. CHRIS EUBANK has slower hands than Benn in my view, but because he slips and ducks rather than blocks, he holds his hands in perfect punching position. He has a shorter distance to travel and this makes him more lethal, in my position. I consider Eubank the superior composite puncher. Eubank, too, is a puncher who varies between technical excellence and riffs - he often throws jabs off the backfoot with total technique, but often leads with weird shots. Here's a question I would like to ask anyone interested, if you were matching Pavlik with one or the other of these guys, who would you pick to give yourself the best chance of a win?
To be honest either man But i would go with benn in his prime he duck under that 1-2 of pav and catch him all night.
