    Dear Friends
    kind regards
Today we have another match up to highlight during our Step back in time series.
Here is the explosive encounter between Marvin Hagler versus Thomas Hearns.

    [YT]ZYHSHd1xfpY[/YT]

This match up was for the undisputed World middleweight title on April 15th 1985.
This was a brutal match up in which these men literally tried to knock each others head off.
If you could watch this match up and give me your opinions A.S.A.P I'd appreciate it.
    yours thankfully
    John

I always wonder what would've happened if Hearns didnt break his hand in the first round.

Perhaps the best 'short fight' in boxing history. I can't say enough good things about both men. They did boxing proud.

Round 1 is one of the greatest rounds ever.

Hearns forgot to use his all advantages, and fell right into the style of fight that Hagler wanted.

Im sure if Hagler was decapitated he'd still throw punches.

One of the best fights ever, imo. Surpassed all expectations. I won alot of money on that one, too!

I'm not sure if I've ever seen a guy switch from his normal style to a different style, such great success, against the caliber of an opponent like Thomas Hearns.

Simply Marvelous! Hagler had eaten Hearns best shots before breaking his hand.

I cannot see Hagler losing even if Hearns did not break his hand tho I am ignoring the cut.

This is the greatest fight in my opinion from 2 of my favourite fighters of all time. It had everything, 2 great fighters going toe2toe, granite jaw, cut, poss broken hand and a ko all within 3 rounds. Hearns was awesome but Hagler is a legend!

Round 1 was just bad assed. Both of them wanted to kill each other
