Hearns vs Hagler was a three round brutal street fight.

    Dear See Me Flow
    kind regards
I agree with your analysis of Hagler versus Hearns.
What can I say about this match that others haven't said?
It was one of the most brutal and heated matches in history, the first round was superb, it resembled two rapid dogs trying to tear each other up.
    yours thankfully
    John

What strikes me about this fight is pride. Sheer pride. Not just about winning -- not just about boxing. I can take your best shot, I can deny the pain, let's see if you can. I won't lay down until my body wilts.

Hagler was just relentless kinda like Glen Johnson. I wonder how Hagler vs RJJ at 160 would end.

Hearns could have never defeated Marvin. hagler was piling on to much pressure, and Hearns didn't have the firepower to stop Hagler. Hearns chin was always suspect. In my opinion, at least.

I love that fight, but hate to see Hearns layed out.
Even though Hearns broke his hand, I don't think it would've made a difference, as Hearns was in the complete wrong frame of mind, and should've tried to box.
The only chance he had of victory which was the cut, spurred Marvin on.

Even when Hearns did try to box midway through the first round, and had some success, Hagler cut him off and got him in the ropes. By the end of the round, Hearns's legs were doing a dance.

Hagler had a perfect game plan. I don't know if I've ever seen a guy change his style so effectively in a fight against a caliber of opponent (and puncher) like Hearns as Hagler did in that fight.

THIS IS THE BEST FIGHT I have ever seen all my life!!!!! There are a lot of other great fights but this is ALL TIME GREATEST FIGHT!!!!

Never a dull moment! Each round seems to be the last and deciding round for both of them!

he would have lost, hes said on numerous occasions that he went out bombing because he was gassed before the fight from a pre fight leg rubdown.

Marvin Hagler would've beat any MW in history with the frame of mind he had going into that fight.

He beat on Hearns like Tommy owed him money.
