Jamoye is hooking the body and head, pushing his way inside with his elbow and getting tossed away by Guerfi, palming his shoulders. Slapping counter hooks by Guerfi. Hard jabs by Jamoye dropping in and shooting up in front of Guerfi. Jamoye is hooking the body and getting hit with uppercuts while bent over. Long jab by Guerfi. Hook to the body by Guerfi.

Round 11

Jamoye is walking through jabs and loose right hands, looking to shred the body. Guerfi is dropping his weight to the rear foot and gliding away, not letting Jamoye close. Very light jabs and rights by Guerfi while tracing semicircles around Jamoye. Wild corkscrewed right up top by Jamoye, missing. Guerfi lingers inside, flurries with short hooks, and jumps out to circle.

Most of the action since about the halfway point has been very close.

Cards nearer or further than mine could be justifiably argued.

 

Round 12

Jamoye is ambling in, fists at his knees, throwing big right hands. Guerfi ties up and pushes Jamoye away, walking him across the ring. Guerfi is using his arms on the inside, grinding them into Jamoye and levering him off. Very rough on the inside. The ref keeps close watch but gives them ample liberties. Lots of tying up and wrestling as Jamoye dives in with hard but poorly aimed body shots and overhead chops. 1-2-1 by Guerfi thrown with great effect while hopping to his right, blinding Jamoye with the first two punches and then finishing with the stiff jab between the eyes, snapping Jamoye's head back sharply.

Guerfi lies on his back after the final bell, crying.

He is acting like he sustained a hand injury? The left, it seems. If so, he is one tough SOB as he threw some HARD power jabs in that last minute. (or maybe that's how/when he broke it...)

I could see maybe a draw but even 115-113 Guerfi is a bit of a stretch given that Jamoye started much stronger over the first several (IMO)...but it was definitely close and Jamoye doesn't seem the least bit displeased.

Both are showing each other massive respect, and have been since the last bell.
