I believe 4-0 southpaw prospect and Olympic bronze medalist Wyatt Sanford ought to be up next.

 

Casavant's (unofficial scorer for PunchingGrace) card has it 40-36 Israyelyan.

 

All three judges agree with Casavant, UD for Israyelyan. The twenty-one year old Montréal based Armenian is now 3-0.

In the amateurs, he captured the gold medal in the IBA Youth Championships in 2022 and captured European Youth championship medals two years in a row (silver in 2021 gold silver in 2022).

 

Daylen Pépin vs. Alexendre Giraldeau Perron, 4 rounds @ super lightweight

 

Pro debut for Pépin. He is six years younger and an inch taller, giving up an inch of reach.

 

They absolutely wailed on each other's bodies all round but neither could land a head shot for the life of them.

 

Carlos Irusta - scoring for ESPN Knockout in Argentina - scored the opener 10-9 for Pépin.

 

Pépin scores a knockdown in the 4th, which should leave no doubt.

 

UD for Pépin.

Two judges gave Perron one round, scoring it 39-36 for Pépin. I missed the other card but going to assume it was 40-35 because that didn't really feel like a draw minus the KD.

 

Wyatt Sanford vs. Petr Novák, 6 rounds @ super lightweight
