Morrell won the round but it was nice to see Henderson show some signs of life. He countered pretty well and threw some hard shots off the ropes.

 

This will be a good fight because Roman is no slouch.

 

Henderson can take a shot. Not sure for how much longer of course.

Referee Luis Pabon could have and perhaps should have stopped the fight near the end of the round. If Morrell presses the issue the fight will be over early in round 4.

Referee Luis Pabon was not impressive tonight but Morrell impressed against limited opposition.

 

Brit stoppages seem to have successfully migrated to America.

 

That was a premature stoppage, Morrell was putting shots together but Henderson was fine and still defending himself!

 

Henderson fought bravely. Not a bad fighter at all. But obv in way too deep here.

 

I generally agree but he didn’t have the pop to hurt Morrell and was just gonna get teed off on worse as the fight wore on.

 

It was definitely only a matter of time but I still feel he deserved to go on, he was still riding with most of the shots Morrel threw in that final flurry

 

He is not ready for D Benny. Maybe later.

Is anyone else having trouble with Showtime online? I'm a subscriber but the fight won't pull up. Trying to watch the two cards on two different screens rather than the TV.
