Its too bad Fulton didnt run it back with B. Figueroa. I thoght forsure there was going to be a rematch considering how good and close the fight was.

I'm glad he didn't. Since he didn't, we get Fig vs Magsayo and Inoue vs Fulton. I hate rematches most of the time. They hold up divisions where there should be a plethora of good fights. I also feel like promoters are starting to realize that just because a fighter loses, they don't need to take time off and then fight a couple of bums before getting another decent fight. Good fight after good fight, top fighter vs top fighter. Have them all fight. Let's go.

Guess we’ll have to find out once they fight. Inoue fans are underestimating Fulton’s chin and toughness while Fulton supporters are underestimating Inoue’s boxing skills and IQ. It’s gonna be the ultimate test for both guys.

You right, however I am well aware of his boxing skills, I just happen to think that Fultons skills are better and that he can handle Inoue's power. I could be wrong but that's my choice.

I get what your saying, many rematches tend to hold up their division but the B. Figueroa vs Fulton would have been worth it for closure. If that rematch would have taken place and Brandon got his hand raised it would be him fighting Inoue not Fulton which in my opinion would be a harder fight for Inoue.

Figueroa is a fighting at 126 and Inoue is moving up to 122. That fight wasn't going to happen anyway. It definitely wasn't gonna happen if he he had to beat Fulton to get the fight. He would have lost again.

If im not mistaken B. Fig moved up because Fulton wouldn't grant a rematch other wise B. Fig would have stayed at super bantamweight for the rematch. The Heart breaker is looking for belts so he moved up to fight for the WBC Interim Feather against Mark. Opportunity presented itself so he took it.

Fulton didn't give him a rematch because his goal was to unify at 122, Figs got pissed and moved up so that took his out of the Inoue sweepstakes right there. When Fulton couldn't get the unification fight with Murodjon he decided to move up and rematch Figs. However, Inoue came calling and he took that challenge because people were saying that he was running to 126 to get away from Inoue. At any rate, Figs was already at 126 so the fight with Inoue wasn't gonna happen anyways. When he knew that Fulton was coming to 126 for the rematch and he wanted the Inoue fight in case he won, he could have just came back down to 122.

I like B. Fig a little more than Fulton but I do like Fulton as well. For this reason Im not going to get into a bunch of fluff in between fights. Fact is Fulton's win wasn't a clear Victory against B. Fig and anyone who watched that fight knows that. Fulton didn't want to go to deep waters again so he jumped ship on the rematch that everyone wanted.

I heard that, but the fact is that Figs had already stated that the Fulton fight was his last fight at 122. I happen to like Fulton a little more than I like Figs so touché. The thing with me is that I think both of them would beat Inoue. You say that Fulton didn't want a rematch but his main reason for going to 126 was for the Figs rematch. The fight was close but the fact is that Figs lost and Fulton had other aspirations, he wanted to unify and that's what I wanted to see him do.

I don't take away anything from Fulton because he initially wanted to unify but nobody can expect for B. Fig to just standby and wait. To be honest I believe they are meant to cross paths again.
Inoue is a real threat but my money will be 2leg parley for Fulton and the over on rounds.

I understand what you saying but you seem to insist that Fulton was somehow ducking Figs and I know that's not the case. He had bigger fish to fry and he didn't owe Figs no rematch because regardless of some people's beliefs, he was deemed the winner. Figs just have to keep doing his thing and the rematch will come about because Fulton is coming to 126 sooner than later.

You didn't say it but your language suggested it.
