When Bazinyan sticks to the jab and sets up his power shots he looks solid, problem is he often starts getting sloppy as the fight goes on.
Against Fox he started well too but then barely eeked out the win on my card

    Round 1

Macías is taking his time, getting a feel, ducking and swaying backward to dodge the Bazinyan jab. Occasional windmilling rights by Macías, half-hearted, warning shots. Bazinyan is advancing in rocking-chair fashion, weight shifting from heel to frontfoot, sticking with the jab, sharpshooting, looking for openings anywhere legal, from trunks up to crown. Very little connected either way, a smattering of jabs from the hometown fighter getting through.

    10-9 Bazinyan

With his whopping 32.56% stoppage rate and there being, AFAIK, no major red flags on Bazinyan's chin that we've seen? Terrific strategy. :sisi1

    Round 2

Bazinyan seems to want to experiment with sitting back and countering now, letting Macías come to him. Bazinyan walking him onto jabs and low uppercuts on the waistband. Bazinyan now sticking out the left arm fully extended to let Macías impale himself and create space to hit the body. Macías for his part taking full advantage of the opportunity to push inside and sling hooks. Very few reach target.

    10-9 Bazinyan

    20-18 Bazinyan

You can clearly see Bazinyans size advantage here, Macias has been fighting at 154 for most of his career

    Round 3

Macías is overreaching with a jab, and then lobbing a line drive right behind it more to steady his balance than attempt to score. Bazinyan with just enough movement of his feet to keep Macías' pressure ineffective and primed for countering. Bazinyan not punishing him with much beyond single jabs and the odd two-piece on the backfoot. This isn't super fun atm.

    10-9 Bazinyan

    30-27 Bazinyan

Butler really lost to this guy. That’s sad. Odds had to be massive in that fight too.

    Round 4

Bazinyan still content to drift away from Macías and zap him with 85% jabs. Right hands strewn in sparingly. Quick fadeaway hook on the pivot once in a blue moon. Charging in with arms folded against his face or crossed at his chest, Macías is just blundering in hoping to land a game-changer, plowing with right hands but not ablr to make anything stick.

    10-9 Bazinyan

    40-36 Bazinyan

Chris Namus has it 39-37 for Bazinyan, giving Macías round three. Some other dude has it a draw, giving Macías the last two rounds.

    Round 5

Macías loading up and teeing off with right hands over the top, and wide left hooks downstairs as he stomps in. Absolutely nothing touching Bazinyan. Jabs, short hooks, and uppercuts from Bazinyan, lighting Macías up with counters after baiting him inside. Macías hurt. Bazinyan going to work, tagging him with jabs and rights on the head and slashing hooks on the body. Macías grins and backs into the ropes. Bazinyan bullies in close, using his arms like flippers to leverage Macías into the ropes and set him up for more combos. Macías with some wild bombs just before the bell, all missing.

    10-9 Bazinyan

    50-45 Bazinyan

Chris Namús is a Urugayan chick that used to box, 2x champ, and I guess now lives in Québec.

That dude Matt something is just a pundit for the channel airing this I think.
