Not sure I like Ramsays instructions here, Bazinyan is still doing well offensively as a a southpaw but he looks more hittable imo and Macias has gotten close with a few of those wild overhand rights

Bazinyan isn't bad but there's something lacking. I don't think he's going to make it on the world stage.

    Round 6

Macías still unloading with a will. Bazinyan the cleaner puncher, busier, more accurate, but he is being pushed. Macías starting to buzz him on the hairline with some jabs, now that he isn't neglecting that punch anymore. Bazinyan still living & dying by his own sharp jab, mostly thrown in singles, legs scissoring, creating distance. A few body flurries stepping around wide from Bazinyan.

    10-9 Bazinyan, closer

    60-54 Bazinyan

Serious question. Why is Bazinyan fighting at home in a ring this small against a guy who needs a KO to win?

Macías' relentless march paid off in the seventh, had Bazinyan in trouble. And then my browser crashed and trashed my write-up.

    10-9 Macías

    69-64

Bazinyan falling completely apart the last two rounds, the illusion of giving up nominal ring control to Macías being transformed into reality as he now gets walked down and pummeled. Considering this is basically a show built around him, as the undefeated and much larger fighter, he's sort of just cucking himself on the world stage here.

    10-9 Macías

    78-74 Bazinyan

Bazinyan has turned southpaw. Not sure what that is accomplishing. Weak right jabs aren't doing any more to discourage Macías than weak left jabs.

Bazinyan came forward for a minute or so, but then is forced to retreat. Macías just rolling in pendulum shots on the body with both hands, pressing Bazinyan into the ropes. Jabs and uppercuts from Bazinyan, unable to back him off. Both scoring hooks in the pocket. Macías finishes stronger at the bell, several unanswered power shots.

    10-9 Macías

    87-84 Bazinyan

After this fight if I’m Bazinyan I ask my promoter if they care about my career. Having him fight in a ring this small against a wild man who needs a KO to win is laughable matchmaking for the house fighter.

Macias went from a +900 underdog to a +200 dog.

Matt Casavant of TVA Sports has it 86-85 to Bazinyan, giving Macías rounds three, four, seven, and eight.

I very much disagree with his scorecard. Bazinyan won the first six in a row (five in a row certainly) and Macías won the ninth IMO.

Great value on Bazinyan. No way he gets less than a draw. He will prob win 97-93. Bookmakers probably skewed by that 86-85 telecast card.
