Looks like the crowd is watching hentai on their phones and not the fights. If it got anymore dead in there, a funeral might break out.
Fulton should have made him come to the US where fans give you the proper respect and atmosphere.

I actually prefer quiet crowds. Let's us hear the punches and the fighters moving around the ring. If only there was a way to mute the commentary but keep that stuff

First big KO of the night :ggg

One fight down, 2 to go. I'm hoping for quick ko's and then the main event.

The undercard is done too fast.

Makes a nice change from seeing the usual top rank girls though. The Tokyo Drift song is stuck in my head

Japan sports fans are unique in that, for boxing or pro wrestling, their crowds are notoriously quiet for the most part. But in baseball, on the contrary, they chant and beat the drums loudly throughout the entire baseball match. So they have much louder and more enthusiastic baseball crowds than in America, but for boxing not as loud.

Nah, that's too much excitement, I don't think the crowd could take it.

One thing you have to respect about Japan fans is that the big crowd has already arrived for the undercard. In America in many big fights especially in Vegas the arena is empty until the match before the main event. In Japan the fans get their early and pack the place to the rafters even several hours before the main event. That I like. Because it gives the undercard fights a big fight feel.
