Fulton landed a great right hand in the 5th. I was surprised at how much he was willing to trade with Inoue and load up on big shots. One thing about Inoue is he has a good chin. And he's good at rolling with shots. He's not just a devastating puncher he is cerebral in there as well.

Exactly this lol. His best rounds were rounds where he did 20% of the good work Inoue did instead of 5%

I think he started to make that adjustment, but it's hard to keep up when you're getting outpunched in there.

    :deal:

And when he finally clipped Inoue on the chin with a big flush power shot in the 7th, his right hand was IMMEDIATELY responded to with several of Inoue's own flush power shots. Microcosm of the fight. Jab game? Fulton tries establishing his, gets nowhere, Inoue cucks him with a superior jab. Footwork, same. Just "anything you can do I can do ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE better".

If you watch the 5th round, he landed the best punch of the round. And although Inoue threw a lot of punches, many of them were blocked. Inoue wasn't exactly landing clean in that round. In the 5th, Fulton was moving and blocking well throughout that round. So there is an argument he edged it. If you actually pay attention to clean punching, blocking etc. I'm not saying it was a clear Fulton round by any means, but he did a lot well in that round to have an argument that he won it.

Just a brief visit for the time being

I'm not familiar with him at all other than that video but there are loads of similar ones out there and there are also tons of similar type comments from Fulton's fans on social media and even other fighters calling Inoue a hype job

Yep exactly. Not to mention that EVERY SINGLE ONE of those jabs to the body made me go “oooof”. Ridiculously stiff

Well, I always gotta support the Philly guys, but at least he lost to the greatest P4P fighter in the world, and I do mean fighter!

Naoya, through the combo of amazing ability & BALLZ, has ascended to the top in my book.
