Interested to see the judges cards, if they gave Fulton any rounds.

You know what's sad ? People still won't give him the credit, because he is from Japan.

They say people don't like lower weight division in US, is that true ?

Disagree, 3rd and 5th were incredibly clear. The only round that was even remotely marginally close was 7. 1-6 were some of the easiest rounds I’ve ever scored in my life

Rounds can be close with still a clear winner...

I gave him 5 and 7. 5th was a close round, and I probably gave him it partly as champion, and partly because he blocked a lot of what Inoue was throwing. I gave him the 7th as he clearly hurt Inoue in the centre of the ring for about 30 seconds. He stopped bouncing around allowing Fulton to land some clean jabs and crosses. But Inoue shook it off and finished the round strong, but I can't ignore that shot mid-round. The crowd went very quiet, and the Japanese commentary got worried too.

But... In round 6 Inoue stepped it up a gear in response. And again in 8 stepped it up another gear and got the stoppage.

3 and 5 were not close, 3 in particular Fulton landed absolutely nothing. 5 he actually did some good work it was just 25% of the work I Inoue did. Hence, not close and very clear

He did stun Inoue at one point, and Inoue like stopped what he was doing and was staring down at the canvas for a couple moments, then he flipped back into fight mode and resumed his normal fighting. But yeah, you can't ignore that one moment that Fulton appeared to hurt him momentarily.

    Exactly. :deal:

Rounds can be relatively closer than other more outright dominant rounds but still not particularly "close".

Tank can really punch. Inoue needs to get more bulky first, so he will not be overly affected by Tank's punches.

25% of the work, maybe, but much of the 75% from Inoue was blocked or didn't land clean. Fulton landed the best punch of the round then showed good defense and ring generalship down the stretch.

With his preferred hand wrapping? Boy, we ought to just retire the #1 pound for pound spot after Inoue.

I’m talking about the effective work. Inoue still far outlanded him. It was a CLEAR Inoue round and anyone who scored it otherwise did so out of pity
