Gotta be a little bit of nerves, but also a mental game with the taunts. Inoue shook his head at Fulton a few times.

Yes more competitive than the complete whitewash domination of 1-4. But still a very clear and easy to score round for Inoue. And for the avoidance of doubt, this was a thoroughly dominant performance.

I would think it’s utterly insane to give him 2 rounds. 7 is the only round where an unbiased boxing fan can make an argument for Fulton. Round 5 in a vacuum was not close, it was just closer than all of the utterly one sided rounds 1-6.

''36 y/o shot'' Nonito did way better against Inoue than Fulton did

Hell, even Paul Butler's slickness was way more impressive than Fulton's was and Butler is a low level Brit Slickster

5th would have been something of an "attaboy" round for sure.

That said, I felt OK calling the seventh for Fulton based on the way it unfolded. But if anyone called it a 7-0 wash, I woudn't argue too strenuously. Even when Inoue was getting shaded in a round he still managed to stay in control.

H struggled with foot placement, Fulton's stance was very wide, and he made sure to always have his lead foot against Inoues lead foot. helped him keep the distance he wanted until Inoue started to adjust for it. He had a hard time for the first few rounds sorting that out.

Yes it was and Inoue struggled with that despite still managing to dominate and outbox him. But Inoue adjusted and took him out in style.

Let me say it again. Fulton did Not win a single round. Not ONE round.

One if the easiest fight to score. How the **** are people giving 2 rnds to Fulton when 1 is a stretch. These were not close rnds. They were rnds where Fulton was dominated and did nothing or rnds where he did something but was still less than half of what Inoue was doing.

He had to take it big payday a smaller man coming up to your weight class and you're unified. I would've been a duck if he didn't.

He also got paid around seven figures for the fight and he wasn't getting that purse anywhere else.
