I've been wondering how you go from being amateur to professional and how golden gloves plays into going professional. How many amateur fights do you actually have to win to be noticed?
anyone can go pro, it's easy. being good at it not so easy. hard work through the amateurs are the best road to being a good pro. hell, they are the best road to being a better lot of things in life. short cuts not so much.
Lol ya, I've been to a gym before. I was curious since the day I started going to the gym, any more insight would be helpful.
Golden Gloves is just a tournament dude. You have to have at least 5 fights to enter the Open division of it; but in New Jersey you're going to have to have at least 10, and even then you're going to be on the short end of the stick in terms of experience. And it has nothing to do with turning pro, it's just another national tournament that gets you ranking points, a spot at the USAs (and this year the Olympic Trials) and possibly some notice by promoters if you make it to the national level.
As mentioned above anyone can go pro. U dont hav eto have any amatuer fights to step into the pro ranks but its not the best way to go about it. Winning the Golden Gloves will help u get noticed by promoters as well as provide u with experience against some of the best amatuers in the country which ultimately will help u in the pros.... also promoters will pay u more to fight on their cards as a pro if u were a good well known amatuer then they will if your a nobody comin off the streets and steppin into the pros with out any amatuer experience
Stay amateur as long as you can- win, lose and learn hidden away on small shows where no one will ever remember you. I wish i'd stayed amateur longer.
I never realised you actually fought brown bomber I thought you were a bull**** specialist! Aren't you the guy who posted that avatar pic of you really tensing and constipated looking? What's your record matey?
And when I last saw you you couldn't even pout your lips without looking like you were about to blow someone, and that doesn't even go into the lack of hair products you had.
