    Wow, what the hell, Ice? You "used to" like him but now that he died you're done? That lost you, did it? Something he had virtually no control over. The fair-weather fans on this site never cease to amaze me, I swear. Good Lord.

    I seem to recall Smoger kissing fighters after stopping a fight and saving them from further punishment. Thought it was kind of strange.

    Hands down my favorite ref, this is terrible news. He was a likable jovial guy with a very warm personality. A bit or a larger than life throwback. His kind are becoming less and less in today's society. He'll be missed. Rest in Peace Smoger.

    Quick anecdote about Steve Smoger: I guess he and Mills Lane were over at Kenny Bayless' house one day and he offered them each a frozen banana and they didn't want one but they both wanted to enjoy a regular banana later so they both said yes.
