The disillusionment I got when I lost faith in Haye's intentions was unlike anything I'd felt before. The prospect of going to see Klitschko-Haye at Wembley was the most exciting thing in years for me. I felt like I'd been taken for a ride after the Ruiz fight

The thing is its like a Premier league season where Chelsea and Man Utd don't play, or for me a season where Newcastle and Sunderland are in the same division but don't play. You can enjoy the rest of it but some sporting occasions are more special

Haye has been a dissapointment at heavy. His proper debut was december 2008, and here we are 18 months and a mere 2 fights against very limited opposition down the line.

Now if haye hadn't claimed he was going to clean out the heavies not much would have been said. But he's done a lot of talking and now he's starting to look like a bit of an idiot.

He should just fight anyone half credible to stay active.

Possibly. He does like his talk shows and household name status :think

I think either he lost belief in himself in the last couple of years (maybe sparring going badly or stamina issues), or he didn't realise how much money he could make without the Klitschkos. I'm inclined to believe its a bit of both. It would be great if he came out and said he wasn't ready for the Klitschkos, but it would be a very brave move to make for someone who has came up with so many excuses in the past

    Dawson-Pascal
    Martinez-Williams II?

Ward-Dirrell, Froch-AA, Perez-Agbeko II, JuanMa-Marquez etc...lots of great fights to look forward too.

yeh fair enough dawson vs pascal.

dont think martinez and williams happens again. the others are not the top 2 guys. theres always good fights but we need the big events.

haye vs klitscko and mayweather vs wlad are thre biggest fights right now

Couldn't agree more. The fixation with negotiations is ridiculous, thread after thread of "50/50", "65/45".....when the bottom line is that no ****er knows whats really going on.

Sounds a good fight, Floyd wears him down with his lateral movement & stops him in the 12th :good

As others have said though, Haye coming out with all the trashtalk etc and then not fighting them is terrible. I had a feeling he wouldn't actually fight them quite a while back

I haven't turned against him, but I am very disappointed. It's annoying whenever rich people complain about how much more rich they want to get and can't - but that goes for the Klits too.

Unless he fights Adamek, I just don't care. Anyone less than Adamek, a Klitschko or someone at least top ten ranked is a waste of everyone's time.

And my other favourite: sudden experts on contract law and substance abuse testing. Really, I'm surprised they bother with lawyers with the gifted majority on the GF.

I love the image of Rob in Chinawhites, a furious scowl developing over his delicate features as he notices Haye in there again.

"BUT HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE MY... HERO! HOW DARE HE JUST BE A REAL MAN!"

    1) No, we don't know.
    2) I was talking in general, not about Haye-Klit

Its laughable whats happened to the GF over the last year or so. If they want to go play the business experts why don't they **** off with Alan Sugar and The Badger and stop filling a boxing forum with inane opinions on what percentage of a purse their favourite fighter should get?

I think we've seen from Hayemaker's attitude in negotiation is that they comment on nothing.
