What's happening with Froch-Abraham? Completely out of the loop. Thought it was sorted for Monaco?

this is strange.

I heard from Froch's camp yesterday that he was back in training after the WBC event in Cardiff!

 

I booked a hotel for the Froch-Kessler fight in Copenhagen only for the fight to be moved to Herning.

Was really pissed off, and it has made me think twice now about travelling to fights, even in England.

The ordinary fan gets ****ed over again if this fight falls through, and I'm willing to wager that its a problem on Froch's side.

 

There is such a thing as travel insurance, guys...

The **** I got off the wife for digging my heels in to go to this fight after knocking back a holiday in the Norway to visit her family, time off work, then the total gang **** from insurance companies trying to get my money back doesn't make it worth the hassle.

the last live event I attended was Calzaghe-Lacy and even then I had to re-book time off and hotels and ****.

Thankfully a world title fight is coming to Scotland on the 4th September, even though I'm 30 miles from Glasgow, I'm holding off booking the hotel until nearer time.

 

Don't cry, Rob. I'm not insulting anyone's intelligence. Fights fall through for any number of reasons, even on the day of the fight - sensible thing is to get travel insurance. I've never had any hassle getting my money back and I've always gotten the full amount.

 

The second time I saw Metallica live, Lars had some sort of heart issue and had to withdraw from the gig just hours before he was due out. Me and my mates and well over 70,000 others around us missed out after forking out ****loads of money, sorting out travelling arrangements and travelling at stupid hours of the morning, and having to arrange time off of work. The second time I went to that festival I got my head split open with a bottle just before the main event and I had to wear a makeshift turban after I spent the whole ****ing day queueing at the front. **** happens. If you buy tickets for something, you have to accept that something unexpected might put a spanner in the whole works. Nothing is a done deal until you see what you wanna see and get home safely. Surely everyone realises that buying tickets for live events is always a risk?
