Steve Bunce is a clown

he's like most people in his kind of position and it there to cater for the uneducated morons, and that is a majority. People who really know their stuff see right through his shite.

Same on football, the likes of Hansen, Jamie Redknapp and Ian Wright to name but 3 are ****ing clueless.
There are some really good ones such as Gerry Armstrong on the football and Steve Farhood on the boxing. Most are ****ing muppets though. Max Kellerman? atsch

Woodhall is probably my pick out of the current bunch, he draws on in own experience in the ring without banging on about it too much either.

 

Steve Bunce used to be like Steven Holdsworth in that he pulled no punches.His been towing the company line for years now and says whatever is neccessary to keep his career going.

 

Can't really fault that appraisal.:good

Holdsworth is quality and a credit to the sport.Its a shame he was banished to Eurosport covering minor boxing events,repeats and the K1..

 

I couldn't have put it better myself. His writings are even worse than his punditry on telly. He's enthusiatic, but even that seems overdone. He kind of popped up a few years ago, although I've no idea where he came from.

 

Steve Holdsworth is BY FAR the best of British commentators.I've known Steve since the beginning of the WBFA in the late 80s.

As for the worst, that has to be Duke McKenzie. The bloke is absolutely awful

 

I can't respect anybody who pronounces Calzaghe as "Kawasaki"

Duke for me is an enigma.The guy was an accomplished pro but i have never heard so much rubbish spew from any commentators mouth.He repeats the same crap over and over again and for a boxer suprsingly doesnt seem to have a clue.

 

At least Duke has comedy value...;O)

 

hey c'mon! Bunce is a legend. he got ****ed over by the BBC and i think its good he's still got a job because he is obviously so passionate about boxing. yes, he rambles on and yes ... he can get quite squeeky at times but remeber; the punditry is UN-SCRIPTED. he's gota think of something to say otherwise they would sit there in silence. i'd rather listen to Bunce real off enthusiasm than see Woods or Nelson sit there coming out with mediocore bollocks. go Bunce! **** Calzaghe for the nighthood ... give it to Steve! hahahah
