There is, of course, a world of difference between outright fixed/scripted bouts and simply padding up your W column in a small empty gymnasium versus local untrained doofuses. I know Dan Rafael is adamant that everything about Raymi was fake (which I think become the most widely accepted narrative) and that on that basis (more so than his utter dearth of quality or even remotely creditable victories, on which everyone - who isn't playing the long troll with a wink and nod - agrees) his world rankings were an outrage. Bunce, at least in the UK, is just as eminent a pundit as Rafael and probably more widely respected, so to see the contrary viewpoint taken by someone in his position taking is fascinating.
