Keep celebrating and glorifying the corruption. Just shows how little respect you have for the sport which you shouldn't be watching.
So G put on a one sided beat down? It was a close fight, not even you can argue that! I can't really get on the judges because I've never been ringside to view a fight from a judges perspective. I suspect, without the luxury of different camera angles and instant replay, judging a fight might be a little more difficult than, someone watching the same fight in the comfort of his home, drinking a beer and eating chips, might think.
This is actually true, watching from one side of the ring only (thus sometimes losing a good angle) does make it considerably more difficult to score a fight. Sometimes the judges just guess whether a punch landed based on the crowd noise as they had no way of seeing it themselves. However (changing the topic slightly - this is not aimed at you at all @Braindamage), what bothers me in the aftermath of GGG-Canelo II is the crowing from certain Canelo diehards who talk as if he'd just knocked out GGG. I don't grudge them being happy, fair enough, it was a close fight and it's more than reasonable to be pleased that your fighter got the nod. But show some respect to the guy who was (if not robbed) hard done by. Besides the fight was so close that if Golovkin is a fraud then Canelo is one too … and vice versa.
So now we're blaming the angles as to why the judges are incompetent even though they have the best seats in the arena. And I never said it was a one sided beat down. I thought Canelo did very well early on and it looked as if he was going to systemically break down GGG the same way Ward did to SK in the rematch but then Canelo himself started to fade which allowed GGG to stamp his authority on the fight and take completely over in the championship rounds to the point he visibly rocked Canelo. And remember GGG is the champ, who should always be given the benefit of the doubt when it comes to defending their titles in a world title match. These same goons stating GGG lost are the same one's championing Ward's whimsical late rally against SK in their first fight.
Not placing blame, showing empathy. You honestly believe the refs have the best seats for judging a fight? All I am saying is, I have no idea what it really takes to be a good judge in a fight that is happening at this moment. I believe it is much more difficult than one might imagine. Do you honestly think the ref has the best vantage point when one fighters back is against the ropes, the other fighters back is to you and they are across the ring from you. How can you see what is being landed and missed? Even if the fighters are in the middle of the ring, how can you see well enough to determine what is being landed and by who, if a fighters back is to you? Until you've judged a fight, I think you need to lay off the judges, especially in close, hard fought fights. For the record, I was puling for G man but, it is funnier than hell listening to all the crying. I guess this is t he new trend in boxing spectatorship. If your boy loses, it's corruption, if your boy wins, well, he's the best damned fighter ever. LOL
On the flip side, the judges have three dimensions to work with, not two like those of us who watched on TV. But bearing in mind the three judges all have a different viewing angle (the ref/ back of either of the boxers must be blocking the view of any one of them most of the time) it's hardly surprising score cards can be so wildly differing....
I do not support ANY cheats Show me one iota of froof Antonio ever cheated or STFU 2 failed tests provide Canelo cheated. EVERYONE knows FROID cheat with his 750 ml & retroactive TUE Don't call me boy either you clown lol
Honestly if you scored that fight for GGG you should just stop watching this sport because YDKSAB The fact a bunch of emotionally invested fanboys (including media) scored it for their guy doesn't mean Jack ****
