    Is Steve Bunce the big meathead bloke who hosted that Sky One documentary where the guy chatted to Hopkins about his prison time?

    Its bloody true thats why.Lets be honest do you really think Billy is a trainer of champions? Look what happened to Farnell? Injuries aswell as trying to change the boys style led to nothing.The same goes for Macklin.Macklin got sent out of the ring in a stretcher and he showed immense promise as an early pro.Graham hit the jackpot with Hatton and he knows his.He wasnt much as a fighter and his certainly not a world class trainer of champions.Credit to Hatton for sticking with him though because if it aint broke dont fix it.

    Bunce used to be good but he tows the company line alot and talks alot of BS these days.Just take it with a pinch of salt as there all the same.The only guy i have respect for is Steven Holdsworth.His worth his weight in gold and calls it how he see`s it.

    I think that Bunce has picked up a few awards as a journalist and earned a good living from this sport since about 1985..............:good

    He has the respect of most fighters and writers around the world................:yep

    He asks a lot of questions other won't and he aint scared of putting a bit of top spin on things...........:happy

    A brash cockney who can get up peoples noses, he is exactly what we need................:D

    Who is out there that could do a better job??? :think

    There was a time not so long ago that Bunce used to get ripped to shreds by people on here.

    Then he started posting here and in no time at all he's a hero and the Bunce hour is the highlight of a lot of peoples TV watching week (who post here).

    For every critic there are 10 'Bunceys a legend' merchants.
    One reason i stopped coming on the British so much was the star-struck behaviour was getting on my tits.

    Not Bunceys fault btw.

    To be honest i didn't like him at first.... But I was very wrong- and not for the first time. I think he's a good fella and he is having a positive impact on the sport. I think Steve has probably seen a few of these in the past because I was quite openly criticle of him and his presenting style I may have even called him a ****.... but while initially I found him a bit on top I did give him credit for the stuff he wrote which i've always enjoyed.

    Bunce's presenting has massively improved and the good he has done for the sport of late has been really impressive.

    I was wrong- Bunce isn't a ****. I'm no ass kisser but he is about the best pioneer of UK boxing right now. Without him at Setanta we'd be in a worse situation then we are now.

    Sorry Buncey..... Kos you tit :lol::lol:
