A mixture of taking too much crap on here and he found twitter. Fair play to him.

 

He got caught eating a baby with salt and vinegar in canning town

 

I noticed on Twitter the other day he said to someone he will never come back and post here.

There was a thread a month or so back where he took some real abuse, I think was the final straw.

 

actually i think i rememeber it was a thread something along the lines of "why has bunce changed since joining boxnation"

 

ye he took some **** in that thread,

 

he doesn't post on here anymore due to the stick he gets from posters incluidng myself which at times can be petty.

he gets stick because he talks up box nation and fwank when they make bull**** fights and consistantly slags of Sky or Eddie Hearn if they do the same thing which is a double standard.

People wouldnt care and would understand that he is just trying to make a living but its the fact that he constantly claims to "tell it like it is" while being a complete hypocrit that annoys people up on here.

also theres always a dig at the internet fans when in reality we are the only people watching and listening so he should keep us on side.

Bunce has his own style. I like it but it can grate on me after a while.

 

Bunce was disliked on here as his Bunce Hour show on Setanta started up (even by GazOC :-(), which I think all stemmed from his work for the BBC previously. Anyway, one day he came onto ESB and shot down a few haters, and began to turn the perception of himself on here around, both by his posts and the fantastic show with Andy Kerr. So much so that the 'Bring Back Bunce' campaign that was started on this forum received a massive amount of support. Website/s were set up, the Bunce Tour was attended by dozens of posters, interviews conducted, articles written, a support thread stickied etc.

When BoxNation was started up and it was announced Buncey was returning with his hour-long televised show, almost everyone was looking forward to it. However, with no sidekick alongside him and certain restrictions, the show was different and, in my opinion, unfairly criticised because of the differences. A few haters crept up and began trying to lambaste Buncey - mainly for his association with Frank - and used even the most minute comments he made as a weapon against him. BoxNation was also a big target for people to moan about. It started to get out of hand a couple of months ago and Bunce hasn't posted since (although I'm sure he still browses the forum).

I do think Bunce was hasty to stop posting because he still has plenty of support on here and he had received similar kinds of verbal abuse before. However, you also can't blame him for deciding enough is enough.
