Did anyone watch it today? Apprently its been on for the past few weeks (Thursdays at 1pm on Setanta Sports News) but it was the first time I had a chance to watch it and it was decent, even though you have to put up with Bunce getting over excited. On todays show they interviewed Gary Lockett, had a piece on John Simpson v Paul Appleby, had a bit on Haye and also they had Danny Williams in the studio to discuss the conterversy in his fight with Airich. They also intervewed Simon Block of the BBBC. The funniest part had to be was when Bunce was talking about the Simpson vs Appleby fight and said just because Simpson has 5 losses it doesn't mean he is a bad fighter and that there are undefeated fighters out there who are not that good. He then said soemthing like "Look at the guy (Kristjansen) Amir Khan fought he had 390 wins and 390 ko's and Amir blew him away". :rofl
Haven't seen it myself. But then that may be due to the scheduling - thursday lunchtimes!!!!!!!!!!! You'd think with their multiple channels and paddy sports that nobody outside of the emerald isle is interested in they could find a decent time and one of the main channels to put it on. With the amount of cash they're putting into boxing a dedicated weekly/fortnightly/whenever programme would be worthwhile
I wish - still stuck in the dark ages here! I had to fight to get my way for the extra setanta subscription. Luckily Calzaghe is also welsh so that swung it!
We haven't had it long but trust me, it's worth it. I recorded Mijares/Munoz the other week which I would have otherwise missed.
Is sliced bread classed as an invention? Whilst I say Sky+ is amazing, it'd be even better if they didn't sometimes cut the end off programs when they run over. I'm going to say the i-Pod beats it, having thought it over. You'd need like 5,000 cassettes and a walkman before, incredible. i-Pod > Sky+... until they sort out missing the end off things.
This sounds good. Thursday lunchtimes on sentanta news ey. May have to give it a watch next week. Even if bunce is a dunce. lol. thankyou, thankyou, yes, i did think of that all by myself.
I've noticed that if it's a Sky scheduled programme, ie on a Sky channel, it adjusts itself because Sky keep the schedule updated even if the time runs over. The other channels don't seem to do that so it cuts it off because if you look on the schedule it says the next show has started even if it hasn't. If you see what I mean?:?
You mean you want a sort of Sky version of program delivery control (PDC). Yes it would be worthwhile to have such a system that works on every Sky channel. Email the top man himself and request it, This content is protected This content is protected
