Made his debut last week was fairly impressed with him considering he never boxed amaateur. He was boxing a lad who had lots of K1 experiance. Fights a bit like his da and looks like he can punch. Good adition to the scene. Heres a clip from last week. He is boxing on the unddrcard of Chisora - Scott tomorrow !

Cool, looks like he could have, better upper body movement, than Steve, if he's got his da's chin, he'll be grand!

Saw him at Wembley on Saturday and he's a big lump. Short, but really solid looking.

Good bob and weave style which will be entertaining, but he needs to work on the jab to get him inside punching distance. You could probably count the times he threw one on Saturday on one hand.

Collins Junior has great physical conditioning but he has a very long way to go if he is going to make this his profession. I keep hearing references to him being a great rugby player. I wonder if he is finding it hard to decide which sport he wants to try his hand in.
If it is boxing however, he has a lot to learn and his career needs to be based around a 5 yrear plan.

    here is the good part
    1- great physical condition
    2- good instincts
3- for his level of experience, reasonable defense

here is what I see as being necessary to work on:
1- needs to learn foot work
2- needs to establish a jab
    3- needs to learn combinations
4- needs to learn more head movement

If they move him along slowly over the next couple of years with regular fights and then gradually move up up to fringe level in 3/4 years I see him developing nicely.
He needs to move to a trainer that is proven in developing a fighters mobility and footwork more than anything. If they could secure a move abroad that would be his best chance.

Well that's nonsense as you don't beat 2 journeyman to the level he fought by Collins Jnr without being far, far, far past white collar level.

Yes he's a rugby player trying to transition and will need to be brought along slowly and with great care, but he seems to have a bit of potential.

Im impressed good bob and weave style with a peek a boo defense and has good speed and power. He defo has serious potential and he looks a natural tbh. Miles miles better then white collar level .

    loooool

    WHITE COLLAR?

    HAHAHAHHAHA

FUNIIEST THING I HAVE HEARD IN AGES.

Saw him live at the copperbox where he fought to a draw.. Looked decent at 1st but then his shoulder went and he lost his way a little bit. Poor footwork but had good lateral movement. Was surprised to hear he has only been boxing for just over a year. With the right guidance he could be a decent pro.

Good points but..You forgot to mention:

    5. He needs to lose weight!

He is carrying far too much muscle for a boxer.
Lugging all that beef around will kill him in longer fights.
Plus he is too short for that division anyway.
