dariuz-jones is a fight i would watch....maybe a green rematch but it has to be 3 fights absolutly total. he is looking awful. no snap, power, finesse. just staggery shaky movement with poor defensive manoeuvres.
The thing is, if this fight does go ahead, I reckon Collins will take this very seriously. I am not so sure if Jones will take it as seriously. I think that Collins is genuinely pissed off that people continue to say he ducked Jones.
Wouldn't be surprised at all if Collins won... Especially if he's kept himself in shape all these years, Roys chin is pure glass these days. Collins would have won in the 90s though, but of course Roy ducked him and many others.
Roy going for Legacy in this one.atsch I actually don't mind this, if he is gonna fight on because he is broke... At least get in there with other shot once great fighters, instead of Prime mediocre fighters that would have looked foolish against you but now just club your face in.
i dunno. just a journeyman boxer who happend to have the name steve collins. i remember seeing a heavyweight called that. i just didnt guess STEVE collins. edit: this was the guy [yt]Yahq2A4yp0I[/yt] seemed like a perfect choice for roy. big, slow, lumbering, poor defence has no real talent or skills. jennings walked bye-bye him real easy. and might be a way to promote a good show in florida, by getting another southerner (but out of towner) to promote a show, pack a house. extends his career and over a minor leaguer with a alrightish numbers
i don't see who'd put the money up for this to happen. if it does happen it'd have to be in the uk. the states wouldn't pay for it.
