Two very tough guys but I'm leaning towards Collins on points as Briscoe always seemed to come up short in big fights.

I would lean towards Briscoe, perhaps a little biased...but I would expect a close decision either way.

Being from Philly and growing up in the 70’s...I think Briscoe could beat Ali...So, yeah Briscoe.

Briscoe destroys the advanced club fighter. Briscoe was a hitter and would level a guy with Collins style. Collins has NOTHING to hold Benny off. KNOCKOUT!!!! Maybe fast, but I would say by the 5th for sure.

Collins had the best chin I’ve ever seen. You need masterful boxing skill to beat this awkward effective crafty workhorse. Collins.

Collins like to fight moving forward. That will not work against Bennie. Briscoe UD. If Collins makes no adjustments here hes in for a beat down.

If only Briscoe’s actual career went like his fantasy fights.

Briscoe was a terrific ring mechanic. Superb on the inside, great eye for an angle and a fine judge of range and distance. Bennie could fight in the pocket all night and not need to clinch.
The problem he faces against Collins is sheer size. Steve was a big Super Middle, Lord knows how he made Middleweight. In reality, this would be a catchweight contest.
Both men had stamina to match their courage and toughness so this one could go twenty rounds.
Briscoe has the all round ability to out land Collins but Steve would own him in the clinches and he's going to have to eat a few of the Irishman's nagging but effective jabs before he gets close enough to get to work.
Bad Bennie on points but probably not many of them.

If only Collins career went like his fantasy match ups.
Christ REGGIE JOHNSON had him ready to go and I promise you Johnson doesn't hit like a Briscoe.
Eubank who was past it had him basically out and then let up.
