Did it change your mind when he was on the floor every time Adamek hit him? Cunningham's combination of not that great chin and not that much power seems to me to be exactly the opposite of what you'd want against Haye.
Cunninghams fight with Adamek was close and whilst he isnt an explosive puncher like Haye. He has reach and speed which could offset Haye and its not as though he isnt without skills also i think he would punch hard enough to gain Hayes respect. On a seperate note i think Cuinningham is a better fighter than both Mormeck and Maccaranelli. Having said that as you say Haye does hit hard enough to get him out of there, but if he could last the distance with Adamek, then i think there would be a very good chance he can last the distance with Haye, win or lose if they fought.
Cunningham is perfect at CW though against 'other CW's at HW' I give him a chance, I still think he'd beat Adamek in a rematch at CW or HW (though at HW would be an underdog). Interestingly I think CHAMBERS-CUNNINGHAM would be a great fight and one where I would favor CUNNINGHAM, so if Chambers is the top American HW then by default Cunningham would be. Whatever the case Id just like to see Cunningham fight ANYONE right now!!! He needs to be more active (and sounds like he's just had a run of bad luck finding opponents), he should be fighting locally/east coast 4x a year or overseas unifying the CW decision, then make a move as a unified CW champ vs the HW champ.
