Impressive performance from Cunningham .He has a distinct lack of power though

Don't know, not necessarily. Haye is strong for sure, but I tell you right now, Steve can box like fiend and it's not guarenteed Haye would catch him.

IMO watching Cunningham is too frustrating. I watched the fights against the Polish guy (can't spell his name, "Diablo") and this last one against Huck, and he definately has the goods, but he seems too passive.

The middle rounds of this fight with Huck in particular, he kept diving in to hug Huck around the waist, even though Huck was clearly too tired to hurt him. Even though I know USS has great stamina, he often fights like he's gassed out beyond belief.

IMO the stoppage he got in the 12th round could've came before round 6 if he had just....punched. Cunningham seems, at times, to go "Zab Judah" and just stop punching, even when the other guy isn't threatening him at all. USS actually has really good combinations, but he seems scared of throwing too many punches.

    Great performance, though!

This a correct analysis. His body work early was great and took it out of Huck.

Haye would definitely catch him, it's just a matter of how well he could take them

Huck landed a few shots that were delivered a day early by the German post, Haye is a much more precise puncher

Moderately impressed, although I'd like to see more from him in the early rounds. Looked like he did his homework, and waited until Huck gassed out before really taking control

Haye is faster than steve and is a good boxers, if haye had been fighting him tonight and cunningham had been hit by the shots he got hit with by haye instead of huck i think it would be good night. I don't think cunningham would have the power to keep haye of him, i do think cunningham could beat enzo and when haye moves up he could become the number one cruiserweight.

I disagree. Huck was the one flailing in with his elbows. Cunningham moved well and really didn't clinch much at all, only to blunt some of those amateurish forays.

Cunningham was on the offensive a lot against Huck, actually, with jabs, body shots, and sharp combos.

The fights against Wlodarcyck were ugly largely because Wlodarcyck kept falling in. This fight looked more like Cunningham's earlier performances.

All those hooks to the body were the reason Huck gassed. Either that or he just has bad stamina, but Cunningham landed so many I think it was likely the hooks.

I absolutely disagree that Haye is faster. Haye is an excellent fighter, but heck I recall him struggling a bit by very limited Giocobbe Fragomeni and getting ko'd by ancient Carl Thompson.

Those other comments are exactly what people said about this fight with Huck, and he did more than keep him off him, he kicked Huck's ass.

Cunningham didn't clinch? Why did he keep diving in for the waist, then?

I'll admit that it was a dominant performance from USS, but he definately took longer than he should've to stop Huck.

Great win for USS and im glad he won, but you cant seriously put him at the same level Haye is.

Put it this way, Huck wouldn't have lasted 3 rounds with Haye

Well we will not agree but don't try and compare a untested guy like huck with the true world cruiserweight champion as that doesn't work. Also carl thompson tkoed haye when he was new to the game and wasn't taking his training seriously, not many people would have even fought a guy like thompson at that point in teir career. Also in regards to bxoing skill hayes silver medal at the world am's seems to suggest he has enough boxing skill.

There was some clinching, but not initiated a lot by Cunningham. Clinches came when Huck flailed his way in and missed, they would get tangled.

Actually Fragomeni was far more impressive than Huck in that fight. He was smart, he got in close and cramped Haye. Took a good punch and all, but in the end Haye got him out of there
