Yes he's a natural CW and comfortably so. That's what I said.

The thread title was whether he should fight at HW.

Cunningham isn't durable enough for HW. And he's not truly elusive and skilled enough to get away with trying to outbox the big boys whilst dancing on a razor blade night after night.

Adamek and Haye also had the power to carry up to HW. Cunningham wouldn't get anyone's respect at HW. And he is ripped to ****, but he is still a small/natural CW.

Yes thats what you said but you also said he was a small cruiserweight, which is not true.

He has a pretty good frame and built for the division...just cause he weighs somtimes as much as 5 pounds less than the limit doesn't diminish that. Thats what makes the CW so special and good. You can weigh even 187 or so if you wanna maintain that speed instead of bulking up....like the opponent who your going to be facing who gets to even 199 lbs.

Look at Zsolt Erdei....who relativity is a not really great or prooven boxer, but still....he came to the cruiserweight division at 178 pounds and beat one of the champions (Fragomeni) who also is not really that great, but a real solid opponent.

That's not really relevant though. When comparing against someone like Haye, who was coming to the ring at 215lbs for his CW fights, then someone weighing in easily at 195lbs and not really needing to rehydrate from that is clearly a smaller cruiserweight.

Cunningham doesn't have a heavyweight chin.

Good point, but its not like Haye was doing that his whole career. He just "out-grew" that division and when it got to the point he was getting too big for CW fishtank and wanted to jump in the big HW pond.

Haye out grew the Cruiserweight division, whilst Steve can't really do that being this is his prime weight.

Haye was fighting HW fights in between his CW fights for ****s sakes. He fought Bonin and came back to Cruiser for Mormeck. LOOOL....

But Haye wasnt doing that his whole career, unlike Steve cause hes a straight up natural big cruiser.

In other words, if Steve and David were to ever fight......at Heavyweight David would be the bigger man than Steve. But at Cruiserweight, Steve would be the bigger man being thats his natural weight and perfect weight on iit being he doesn't have to follow a lot of weigh loss diets and programs to remove excess bulk. Steve is there always, he will not outgrow the CW division like Haye did. Also, like very rareley we see a fighter outgrowing the two of the three heavyest divisions (LWH to CW and now at HW), Tomasz Adamek....
