Round 3

Dirks is getting back on his jab, but is discouraged as Tindani flurries out from his guard. Big left hooks up top and hard right hands to the body by Tindani. Dirks looks a bit uncomfortable boxing off the back foot although he's done it before (against better fighters, too). Something about Tindani is throwing him way off his game, or there's something else going on with him. Right hand lead scores for Tindani. Dirks puts his gloves up in front of his face, and Tindani threads a jab between them. Dirks ducks as Tindani loads up on wild left and right hooks and misses over his head. Big looping overhand right by Dirks scores on Tindani but catches as much shoulder as cheek as the Frenchman curls into a ball. Nice combo by Dirks. They jab and land together. Right hand by Dirks goes wide and they tangle up on the inside. Tindani flips up an uppercut to the body. Dirks blocks a 1-2. Big looping overhand right lands for Dirks again, at shorter range this time.

Very close round. Better power shots from the local kid make it a comeback for him by the slightest margin.

Round 4

Tindani whips his right arm around like an axe, and then pops out a straight jab. Everything is tight and short now, none of those wide hooks. Dirks starts to line him up for the 1-2 while alternately backing out and stepping forward, engaged in a slow dance with Tindani as they vie for command of the ring. Tindani has several jabs blocked by the oncoming Dirks. Slapping right hand hits the top of the head as Dirks tucks his chin down. Dirks keeps advancing and nearly pushing Tindani to the ropes, and taking slapping rights atop the head with his gloves shielding his face. Not many punches from Dirks. Now a big left upper-hook to the body. Tindani thought it was low. Nice looping right planted just above the throat at Tindani's jawline.

Dustin himself is grimacing on his stool, breathing pretty hard through his mouth and spitting frequently into the proffered bucket.

 

Round 5

Tindani jabs and moves forward. Nice 1-2 by Tindani, blocked but effective in pushing Dirks back. Dirks hops around the ring in a semi-circle around Tindani, up on his toes. Nice overhand right by Dirks, and now some left hooks to the body as he circles in. Dirks tucks up and shimmies side to side in a slow rhythm right in front of Tindani. Neither punches. Tindani starts trying to locate Dirks' face with a jab but is just waving around and not touching him. Dirks lands a hard hooking combo around the wrists of Tindani, putting his head in a leather vice. Tindani tries to rally with about half a minute left and throws some hard one-two combos but gets blocked as Dirks dances away. 1-2 after 1-2 from Tindani. Dirks does nothing but block and back up. Now they come together, pressed chest to chest and slapping with arm punches. :dead

Round 6

Left hook to the body by Tindani as Dirks is stepping away just moments after they'd come together in the middle of the ring at the bell. Tindani presses forward and jabs out of his tight guard, as Dirks mirrors him and snakes out some left hooks above the Frenchman's right shoulder. BIG right hook by Dirks, landing behind the ear. Now a left hook to the body. Dirks is starting to put some power in his punches now, generated from his legs. Tindani jabs into Dirks' guard backing up, and is knocked back an involuntary step by a hard Dirks straight right hand lead. Big 1-2 by Tindani, slams Dirks' gloves into his face but doesn't knock them apart. Tindani reaches straight up with his jab, measuring. Dirks hops on his toes and looks to be psyching himself up, but doesn't quite get around to deciding to pick up the pace. Body shot by Dirks. Tindani flurries coming forward. BIG right hand by Dirks knocks him back on his heels.

Round 7

Tindani paints Dirks' forehead with a light high jab. Dirks starts to bend to the side to let Tindani's jab bypass him. Hard body shots by Dirks, coming forward with increased purpose. Tindani throws a straight, soft flurry into his guard. Dirks takes a step back, resets, and gets back on the body attack. Tindani is cut by the right eye. Lots of straight three and four shot flurries by Tindani, none landing and little on them. They circle slowly, with Dirks angling himself to trap Tindani in the corner. He isn't quite quick enough moving in to do so, but he has Tindani near the ropes. A Dirks 1-2 is blocked but knocks Tindani into the ropes. Tindani throws some weak up-jabs and tries to lean his way in on Dirks. Hooking combo by Dirks hits Tindani's arms as the shorter man ducks in on him. Weak slaps to the hips by Tindani. Dirks blocks a 1-2, and lands a flush jab while stepping to his right.

Round 8

They jab together, and land. Tindani puts through a right hand and is able to score but it's just a love tap. Big left hook by Dirks sends Tindani reeling off balance. Dirks throws a straight jab and a powerful looping right, crashing into Tindani's upheld arms. Wild right haymakers by Tindani from the outside now. Stiff right by Dirks. Tindani ducks a jab and lands a couple of soft shots to the chest. Right hand over the top by Tindani. Dirks throws a short jab into Tindani's eyes and then whips a round hand around to the side of his head while he's blinded. Tindani keeps flurrying, throwing straight lefts and rights. BIG LEFT HOOK BY DIRKS!!! KNOCKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :scaredas: TINDANI WAS UNCONSCIOUS BEFORE HE FELL!!!
