Is that so? Ever asked Axe his opinion on the DM-RJJ saga.

I remember an awful lot of people saying Huck was the next best thing. I don't remember any names, per se, just a general feeling on the board that people had lost grasp on that one.

He's a defensive and smart boxer, who looked pretty good against Huck.. He would get beaten by Haye, but will possibly dominate the CW division now.

I was calling it like I saw it. I picked Cunningham to win that fight all the way. You'd have to be an idiot to not be suspicious of at the least the possibility of a bad decision occuring under those circumstances.

Nice try, though. Put out the cigarette.

That your were using my comments out of context to make your point. I always thought Huck was good but that Cunningham is better.

Some of you have compared him to Dawson.

Anyone care to further enlighten us?

Wow, people picking the champion to defend his belt, imagine that.

Anyone can find posts of arguments used by either side.

Fact is, the fight was heavily discussed and many (way too many) thought Huck was going to win the belt. :deal

I thought he was worthy of a title shot. That was based off of watching his fight with Michael Simms and Tokarev. He looked much improved against Tokarev, using his jab more.

Huck isn't terrible, Cunningham is just a far better boxer at this stage.

Yep! I really thought that Huck would be able to beat Cunningham a couple of weeks ago. Cunningham didnt look very impressive against Wlodarczyk whereas Huck looked great against an experienced and dangerous foe like Tokarev. I was wrong! Cunningham fought a smart fight against the inexperienced Huck who wasnt ready for a title shot at that point of his career.I still think that Huck has the potential to be a big player in cruiser weight. He didnt have a long amateur career, and he hasnt had that many fights in the paid ranks either. He is still a very young fellow. The potential, too!
Props to Cunningham for beating Huck in such a convincing way as he did!

As I said based on his fight record Cunningham deserves the nr.1 spot at present.Nevertheless, I for my part rank Alexeev ahead on him in terms of skills, firepower, and talent.
You are entitled to your opinion, augustus!

By the way I will bet my money on Cunningham against Adamek. I have no idea what happened to Adamek's last opponent Bell in his encounter with the Pole, but Adamek didnt look very convincing at all in his first fight at cruiser weight against a journeyman from Croatia.I still think that he punches above his weight. Of course I will probably have egg onmy face if Adamek beats Cunningham in spectacular fashion, but I stick to my prediction. Cunningham by wide point decision against Adamek.

Yeah! I was one of those people, tiger! Well,I didnt think that Huck would take over the division, but I for sure thought that he would totally dominate Cunningham in their encounter!

Way to stick to your guns, Odo. :good

For each poster that mans up like this, you can be sure there were twenty that shared his opinion (Huck over Cunningham) but refuse to man up after the fact.
