what a really low quality stable of boxers he has they are BUMS look at his website! Bum after Bum. London boxing really lets the UK down... there is so many useless London boxers...
Not all Promoters can start out on sky with names like Barker and Froch. He's relatively new on the scene. If he gets a tv deal then he can get better fighters and his stable will get better.
You really are a horrible piece of **** aint ya! Not everyone who turns pro can be a world champion or a superstar. I think you should learn a bit of respect considering all these so called bums could put you to sleep.
Lol its ironic Im sure Ive read ypu dissing Goodwins stable yourself! and youve also called dissed another guy whis a promoter calling him a fat **** on here.. I don't box get that through to your head you depressed midget. You say you boxed but you wouldnt even be able to get a promotional deal with Goodwin! What an oddball you are, you say you are always in boxing gyms, watching sparrings, you say you know and are friends with many boxers, you say you go to all these boxing shows.. Why do all that and not actually box yourself?! Why did you give up like a loser to watch from the sidelines?
Goodwin tweeted the other day that his show at the York Hall this weekend has sold out. He is also very well spoken about in and around the amateur gyms in London for prospects looking to turn pro, is meant to take very good care of his stable. One of the best in the business on that front. I'd tell you to wise up and show a bit more respect but judging by your other threads you're obviously just a troll.
Couldn't agree more. Steve Goodwin is very well respected in the UK scene, good competitive cards without a tv deal one thing, the feedback I know from fighters backs that up. Boxing is about levels be it fighters, promoters etc and about opportunity. It's about getting that chance. I would say one of the best recent non tv shows was promoted by Steve Goodwin last year Richard Commey v Gary Buckland headlining.
Small hall promoters are the life blood of UK boxing. Dedicate their life to the sport for little glory or reward.
I've been to a few of his shows, they were quite well run and were entertaining enough. Not everyone can start out with a host of world champions unfortunately.
I second that, I've been to around 5 of his shows, every single one of them have been enjoyable to watch.
He may put in good shows with competitive fights.... But... All I'm saying us his stable of fighters ability level is very very poor, surely no one can deny that.
