fans who will travel from wherever to Vegas to watch them fight?? not many.

mayweather don't really have a fan base.. no travelling army or anything... you won't find many people cheering for floyd in his fights.. I dunno about shane.

I'd go, but it's just too expensive. I'm not surprised sales are slow. Even if I lived in Vegas, I probably wouldn't be able to afford it.

 

The highest seat price are going for $ 9810.00 right on the floor ..Celebrities seats..wish I had that kind of money to see this fight.:fire

 

It is true. The fuss is from Pac nuthuggers like Steve Kim trying to stir up **** to take away the hype for the fight.

 

There's no spin on it, PBF just doesn't have man fans. Look at the poll of who would people rather win, Mosley or PBF, 80% said Mosley...

He generates money because he is a good promoter, but he doesn't have legions of loyal supporters who will follow him anywhere. He has people who will buy his ppv due to his promotion, and as it is a big fight those interested in boxing will be there, and theres enough high rollers out there to pick up those expensive tickets.

I seriously doubt Floyd could draw a 50k crowd even if he sold the tickets for $5 each...He just doesnt have that many fans willing to follow him.

 

Isn't this the same guy that said paper view numbers for maquez vs mayweather where so week Mayweather had to fake an injury? We see what the numbers did. I think Pre tickets sales are overrated and over priced I got tons of friend who are going to by the tickets when they get to Vegas on Friday, to bad I can't make.

 

The Cabana prices at Rehab on sunday after the fight are definitely NOT sluggish! Prices up ($10k) for the Fight Weekend, so obviously it's generating some buzz.

 

bad for boxing in general if this fight does badly.

 

I think they were way overpriced.

 

We are in a depression not everyone can just throw money away on something that yes is a huge fight really isnt THAT important. Not as many people these days will be willing to pay the transperation and the hotels and the fight tickets and etc. I seen the HBO announcers bitching that Berto-Quintana and Adamek-Arreola had plenty of seats left im like well what did you expect ? Not everyone makes atleast 6 figures a year and has free travel like you guys do.

 

I'd lol if PBF came in that pink Caesar outfit again.
