I had feeling he would lose fighting over in Africa.

Not lazy or over confident, I think. He's just shot. He's half the fighter he was when he first beat Ndlovu. The Caballero fight ruined him.

It's rare that you would prompt a fighter so young to retire, but I think that is probably the best option for Steve. He can't compete anywhere near the level he used to compete at anymore.

Here in Canada we knew Steve's best days were long gone. There was no way he was winning this fight, hell,he didn't win the last fight between the two but got some home cooking a la Bute.
    Steve is done like dinner.

    this guy is mentally gone.

dont matter anyways he was vastly overrated before he lost his 0. Totally one dimensional with no power.

    Doesn't look good for steve.

he became very gunshy after getting KO'd by Cab.

I'm pretty sure that it does matter, because otherwise he wouldn't have gotten as far as he did. It's an old cliche, but a correct one, that the correct mentality is essential in this sport.

he didnt really accomplish much sport wise. he feasted on C level competition making atleast 6 figures in his hometown for each of them and the one time when he stepped up in class he got destroyed. I remember when some of the Canucks here said he would outbox Israel Vasquez before Izzy was shot.
