Smoger said to RingTV “I wouldn’t have done it [take the points off for pushing off]. I would not have done it in that situation there.”

When asked if there was any other thing that Smoger may have had issue with in Khan’s performance, Smoger pointed out an elbow that Khan used for one of the pushes that he gave Peterson. Smoger said he would have warned Khan for that but not taken off a point.

So there you have it, Had Smoger been referreing the result would have been.

    117-110 114-113 114-113

    Khan by UD.

It's worth pointing out, the Ref definatley won that fight for lamont, and heres ACTUAL proof of that

It's ACTUAL proof because another ref has a different opinion?

Yes, its ACTUAL proof that had another ref been reffing, Khan would have won because that other ref wouldnt have got his mug involved and docked points off, Khan won more rounds than lamont and lost because the ref docked points, i.e he "outboxed" petersen in more than 50% of rounds, it was the infringments the ref handed down which were the difference.

Smoger is known as a world class, fair ref who lets the fighters get on with it, I take his word over whoever that unknown D.C native was who probably lives next door to Petersens Nan.

Thats not proof, its just a different opinion. Its the same as my opinion but that still doesn't make it proof.

  5. Doesn't really mean anything.

I'm sure there's a referee somewhere that would have thrown Khan out for it.

    Refereeing is subjective ;)

Especially in Britain, where different rules apply to ''home'' and ''away'' fighters.

It only proves that fight result could have went either way depending on the ref

You could say that for literally every fight ever fought though. Every point taken off, every stoppage or fight that goes to the scorecards would be completely different with other officials in charge.*

Who gives a **** what he says, stupid post. Everyone has their opinion, but the FACT is Khan was cheating so was punished after being told tons of times to stop. The fact is he is a **** poor fighter on the inside

This is how it goes down with 99% of refs, if you don't agree, please provide a list of fighters who have been deducted two points for pushing. Please don't tell Khan invented some new type of push that boxing hasn't witnessed in the past.

I scored Khan the winner 113-112 but i gave him the "knockdown" in the first.

Some referees wouldn't have scored that since a clean shot didn't land. Khan should take the loss like a man and stop bitching. when it comes down to it, he simply didn't perform and lost the fight to a fighter he overlooked. He will now have to start again and rebuild, especially if Peterson doesn't give him a rematch.

-Would Willie Limmond have a chance in getting his loss to Khan over turned? That count Khan had was a few seconds too long.
-The Barrera fight should have been stopped 3 rounds earlier and declared a NC.
-Referee was kind in round 10 of the Maidana fight, no rematch for Maidana.

Maybe it sems a bit petty to you, but the fact is that its against the rules, dont see how you dont get it. Its not as if he got docked the points after doing it once of twice, he done it dozens and dozens of times ffsake. He cant work inside, the same as Ali couldnt do it, hence why he grabbed on a lot when pressurise

I agree GJA, Khan was stupid in that he didn't heed to warnings from a ref that was clearly out to punish him for those offences but he wasn't really doing anything that generally costs fighters points deductions.
