    Has Smoger ever stopped a fight late to the point of severe irreperable damage?

    I can't seem to think of any.

    Smoger's got a hell of an eye for knowing when to stop a fight and when to let it continue. I don't think he's reckless in the slightest.

    Kelly Pavlik should thank Steve Smoger every day for reffing the Taylor fight. Many refs would have stopped that fight and Taylor would still be champ. I hope Smoger gets more big fights this year.

    cortez isnt horrible but i dont prefer him... (he sucked in the mayweather fight so that hurts him BIGTIME)


    The two best in the sport are smoger and bayless
