It's always MMA fighters venturing over to our (ie. the boxer's) domain but very rarely the reverse. With the exception of freak athlete Sugar ''Money'' Mac who literally took TBE to slick school on his pro debut while he still had air in his lungs, these MMA fighters will lose every single time under boxing rules but respect for them for having the plums to step up to the plate and compete under boxing rules because our boys only pay lip service to doing so.

That being said, this is a stupid fight for Mir to take because he has been knocked 10 times under MMA rules and KO'd in 3 of his last 4 fights and he's getting stopped for the eleventh time in this one.

When he was in prime, he fought vs such names: Wlodarczyk ( in his prime he was very good ), Adamek and then young Huck.
    Ross fight was good too.

USS Cunningham was able to give fits to Tyson Fury and even clipped him once in their bout. Good for him to keep the proud of serving in the Navy.

Because the money is in boxing.

MMA guys go to boxing simply because they make relative peanuts compared to boxing. Boxing is where the moneys at.

Ben Askren is making more in his circus show with Jake than he did in any fight in his mma career.

If the money was in mma, boxers would be going to mma.

Maybe, but it's easier on the body too.

A training day for a Boxer is nothing compared to an MMA fighters day.

Nope. Boxers might train twice a day, whereas MMA guys DO train 3 times a day.

It is more difficult than people assume. to fight KB, MT or MMA after boxing.

Well paid are well known boxers, sadly a lot of boxers with pro records 9-0-0 and 11-0-0 are working in gyms and some from them are used as sparring partners by more wealthy boxers. :(

MMA too doesn't pays that well, still some big names makes good bucks.
Defeat on pro mma record doesn't mean end of career cos ppl looks on last fights record and who fighter had fought, also record in said mma org is more researched by fans rather than boxing fans: boxrec and insults in internet: he get a draw vs 4-1 boxer when he was young, he is a bum cos he lost close SD with champ and etc alike.
Boxing fans are most unforgiving combat sport fans in the world.

Find me proof that most UFC top 10 guys in any given weight class train 3 times a day.

Having trained at high levels of both I'd say about the same. You're gonna put in extra work with either if you are training at an elite level.
