Was gonna make a thread, utter scumbag of a guy, should not be given a platform to box here. You can tell he’s a proper racist too as he didn’t even try to hide it in a DM or by making an ambiguous tweet.
He rightfully should get his license taken away, clearly an alcoholic too. Hoping someone got stabbed to death instead is also never a good look.
How much of a mong have you got to be to post something like that on social media? Timing couldn't have been any better either lol. I've seen some people claiming that he's been going through some sort of serious mental breakdown for a while, which could explain it as it is hard to imagine how anyone of sound mind in his position would publicly post something like that. But then on the other mental health is now the go to excuse for a lot of people when they caught doing something wrong.
Donnelly is clearly in a bad place just now and the comments are shocking and as such he should be dealt with accordingly. Davies championing himself as an authority on appropriate conduct is absolutely ridiculous though .
I understand everyone makes mistakes but this is unacceptable. Guy has to be even more of an idiot to make a public tweet showing his racist views, especially considering what is going on in the world right now.
Can they really take his license away though ? This is Boxing. Plenty of precedent for boxers making racist statements in recent times without that having happened. If Donnelly is suffering from alcoholism hope he gets some help from mtk and not dropped by them. Mocking it in public is scummy enough behaviour.
