Dude is legit, btw. Still a diiiiiiiiiiiistant #2 p4p in Omaha behind his old bud (that is, Bud Crawford), and he might not be able to make too much noise at SMW getting his career going now, in his thirties, but Nelson is talented.
Confirmed: at the start of R4, the referee waved it off when Derrick Findley elected not to answer the bell. Findley's a pretty hard dude; making him quit is no mean feat. Not unprecedented, as four of his five stoppage losses have been corner retirements (versus Andre Dirrell in 2009, Edwin Rodríguez in 2014, and most recently Vyacheslav Shabranskyy & José Uzcátegui both in 2016 and both, like today, after 3 rounds completed) - but a statement nonetheless.
He's pretty good. Idk, I don't think Findley is too much of a threat anymore tho. I'd like to see him fight someone decent. He should fight Vaughn Alexander next!
