That was an awesome kick. The crowd was like 'WTF?!', cause the fight was pretty boring until that point. I would personally like to learn that kick because if comes at an angle where its hard to see to defend.

someone posted a clip of silva and machida sparring shortly after silva's front kick KO, and you could see them working on it....crazy to see machida use it for a KO too

I can imagine Machida and Silva laughing the asses off! Machida - "Did you see the crap Seagul was trying to teach us", Silva - "know what would be funny, lets dedicate us next win to him", Machida - yeah that would be hilarious, lets win by KO and say he taught us some new amazing move"

I find it difficult to believe that neither Machida or Silva were aware of this move before they were trained by Segal.
But if not, I guess he deserves credit for teaching it to them.

they knew of the kicks they threw but he just helped them perfect it.
if you ask segal he "invented" the kicks apparently

No different than Joe Rogan helping GSP out with that spinning kick that he was using so much.

You don't have to be a better fighter than a person to show him something new, or teach him better technique in a certain area. The best fighters, athletes of any kind in the world are the kind of people who are always open to learn new things and humble enough to be taught.

Its a standard kick that he worked on with them. He didn't invent anything, nor did he teach them something they didn't know. He helped them perfect it in the same way Rogan helped GSP with his kick and the same way Roach helped GSP with his jab.

Dont know about Seagal teaching anyone anything. However, He is a clown. Esquire magazing had a front page cover on him years ago, "Black belt-White Lies". The guy is full of ****. He ought to do an ad for nutrisystem and make some dough.
