    At least the IBO still only have one world champ per division.

    no "emeritus" "in recess" "diamond" "silver" "super" world champions.

    thats because they are flat out getting champions for their bullsht belts. whilst the other orgs are in high demand so they try make more oppertunities for other fighters by doing super world champs etc. Its also a bussiness so they also make more money. and that dont mean i agree with what they are doing.

    sorry I was referring to Will Tomlinson fighting Ricardo Castillo for the vacant belt not Steve Wills's fight.

    No probs, however that quoted section is for champions defending their belts. Vacant belts are dealt with in point 9 off memory, but again, the IBO's absolute discretion is mentioned there.

    in otherwords at the end of the day the IBO dont give 2 farks about the ratings and do whatever the hell they want. USA is the hub of boxing and USA commentators didnt even know what the IBO title was. That should tell you something
