Mr pibb where u at. Why is everyone so hesitant to fight a fighter just waiting to get exposed? After all that talk, stevens wont take an hbo date to KO golovkin and shock the boxing world? Speaks for itself.
The title is on the line, isn't that enough, plus $300,000?! If he is so sure he would very easily knock Golovkin out, then why not take the fight?
After Sturm, Geale, Quillin, N'Dam N'Jikam and Murray Stevens is the next who is obviously afraid of Golovkin
Fighters need rivals and decent opposition to make big money. Popularity and being there at the right time sometimes outweighs raw talent when making fights. $300K seems low for GGG. (considering his ability) The problem with GGG is that he is so good, opponents are quite rightly scarred of a beating and will either need big money to take an almost certain loss, or they can skirt around him and is WBA\IBO titles and go an easier route.
Slow your role lil dude....it's called negotiations..wait to hear from both sides before you run around like a female. 7 Years as a pro....31 years old....i find it hard to believe he's been ducked all those years. Did he try to fight Abraham...Pavlik...Taylor... chavez jr was at 160 for ages...where was GG then????? Arthur Abraham's resume shi.t all over GG's...
Golovkin has only started making 300k per fight and a non top ten rated fighter has turned down that type of money. Doesn't seem hard to believe that many world ranked fighters wouldn't want to fight Golovkin if there isn't much money involved. Abraham was a big name and was probably the biggest payday at 160 lbs, similar risk but more reward for fighters to fight Abraham. Abraham and Taylor have been fighting at 168 lbs since at least 2009 (2008 for Taylor.) was Golovkin even top ten rated before they moved up?
