Has Gvozdyk (I've really come to love typing his name out—it's like a small moral victory each time) issued an official statement?

i disagree. i played football and boxed both for about 15 years (from the time i was allowed to play sports till i got into college). I will admit theres nothing like taking a clean well timed straight shot...some of the shots i took in football i swear i can still feel. like being in a car wreck. It is a sport just like any other. Moments like this give boxing an undeserved bad reputation. I still get headaches occasionally, and it isnt from my years of boxing. its from my concussions playing football.

 

In all honesty I blame Stevenson's team for not pulling him out. In the last too rounds he was sucking wind with his mouth wide open and looked spent. Its bad enough to take flush shots at all, but when you're completely gassed out it's twice as bad. It also doesn't help that Stevenson is 41.

How many young women did Stevenson **** and possibly even murder that we will never know about? If you have read about his antics on the streets you know what I am talking about. He should have never had an illustrious boxing career because he should have been rotting in prison, where he belonged.

He wasn't really in bad shape in the 10th round. He had Gvozdyk hurt and then Gvozdyk turned the round around. I think most of the damage was done in round 11. Stevenson took a lot of punishment in that around.
