Man some people need to really stop posting .
Man got injured really bad in a boxing match .
Think what that might do to his opponent that night.
I understand hes got a past. But last time I checked he served his time and turned his life around .

It’s a shame, I hope he gets back well quickly. He should of retired the moment the badou jack fight ended. You could tell he was pretty much shot at world level.

turned it around how? by making a living beating other men into submission instead? forgive me for not glorifying his new contributions to society, but he isnt exactly runner up for the nobel prize all of a sudden.

Wishing Adonis a quick and full recovery. I hope its not serious so he can enjoy his second career after boxing.

In watching it again an argument could be made that the ref shoulda stopped it sooner. It was the last punch, where his head bounced off the post that really f@#$ed him up

I wouldn't argue with this and completely agree that the man is a scumbag. I hope he recovers however.

Went to prison. Became a pro boxer and won a title.
Donated money to charities. To the best of my knowledge hasnt been arrested since.
I 'd say thats turning your life around .

Perhaps. Still doesn't mean we have to like the guy. I personally wouldn't like someone that did what he did whether they had served there time or not.

Not saying at all that I don't respect him as a boxer or that he deserves what happened to him though.

Come on. The guy was a POS. He hurt a lot of young girls. For that he will always be held in low regard.

As a boxing fan you hate to see things like this happen. But, it is difficult for many to really feel for the man

I agree. You dont have to like someone.
but to wish someone turns into a vegetable?
I mean its like if you know of someone who died and you didnt like that person would you show up at the funeral and talk smack?

ive been in prison, a real one, filled with guys like stevenson. i know who he is, i know what he thinks about you and i know what to expect from him in almost any situation. not saying all the guys in the pen were like that, fact is, a bigger number than i expected were just regular stand up guys caught in bad situations, but i know who adonis is, and all i got for him is a prayer that God have mercy on his stained soul.

Alot of guys in prison are not stand up guys - thats a huge myth . Sure you have a certain percentage that just want to do their time and go but MOST have been locked up multiple times in their lives.

I like to think of myself as a stand up guy and I've spent a third of my life behind bars.

I wouldn't shed a tear if he became the next Gerald McClellan.

And I really don't give a sh*t if you think I'm a terrible person for saying that.
