It's not likely he will but Bika can pull an upset. He's a really awkward, tough fighter and if he survives the early onslaught there's a chance he could just spoil Stevenson, make it ugly, tire him out and score a stoppage late into the fight.
All Bika does is walk forward at a steady pace and throw looping shots, not too difficult to figure out in my opinion, it plays right into the hands of Stevenson who can be a pretty sharp counter puncher with his straight left. Bika was also rocked a few times in his last few fights by lesser punchers than Stevenson so I can't see him winning this.
As far as Bika being rocked Periban KO'd Boone quicker and before Kovalev and Adonis KO'd him and Dirrell has the exact same KO ratio as Adonis, they're both very good to above average punchers.
I think Stevensons power is not the main issue but he is also much more athletic than Periban & Dirrell and his straight left comes from a really strange angle, I can see Bika having some success early crowding Stevenson but it will just be a matter of time before he starts walking into big shots and gets stopped. Given Stevensons recent matchmaking I think they wouldn't have picked Bika if he was a legitimate threat, I could still be wrong of course, maybe his recent punch resistance issues were just the result of him having difficulty making the super middleweight limit.
fonfara went the distance, and had stevenson in trouble late. bika has to have at least an equal chin, if not better. i think he goes the distance, and has a shot at an upset.
:think The problem is Bika will be lucky to enter the ring at 178 and he has never been hit with 10oz gloves by a true Big Man:!: This ends early and badly for Bika:dead:deal :smoke
The intellectual choice would be Stevenson by decision not KO. However Adonis leans over with both hands down, trying to sucker guys in. With Bika you can't anticipate the angle that the right or left is gonna come from. Bika's off kilter style is exactly the kind of style that could foil Stevenson.
I wonder what the weight difference will be on the night? I don't think I've ever seen any of Bika's ring weights before.

Adonis was 189 or 190 for the Bellew fight but I'm sure I also recall him weighing 185 or 186 for one of his other LHW fights. I should imagine Bika was coming in close to 180 when he was campaigning at 168, but that would just be a guess though.
I just can't recall Bika hitting closer to 180 than perhaps 172 max **** I JDK but I do know he will be the smaller man, more road tested and beaten than AD and his defense has relaxed based on slower reflex time. I see the first 3 RDS being very messy, driven by Bika, but AD will start to create distance and land hard shots that will land clean and hurt Bika very badly:!::dead :smoke
don't see how anybody could give bika a shot...bika is better than pascal, but the difference in skillset between bika and stevenson is unfair. Not sure stevenson can stop him, because bika is made of steel... but bika will take a lotta bombs and not even faze adonis in return.
